Kim Goss was born on March 7th in Boone, North Carolina. She was raised in Jefferson, a very small town in the Appalachian mountains. Her exotic looks come from a Filipino/Spanish mother and German/Native American father. Growing up Kim was the true definition of a tomboy and competitor! Even at a young age she was a star in her own right and participated on many successful organized sports teams in basketball, softball, volleyball, and tennis. In addition to her many awards and accomplishments on the court and field, she was also an academically gifted honor student in the classroom. Along with her passion for sports and academics, Kim also enjoyed working with children. Her love for kids led her to pursue a pre-med degree at The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in hopes of one day becoming a pediatrician. It was in college that Kim came in touch with her more feminine side. She got her very first taste of modeling when she received the top votes to be in the Creme de Caroline Calendar which featured the University’s women of color. Despite this and having several people asking her if she was a model or urging her to model, being a model was still something that she never believed she could do and was the last thing on her mind. Upon graduating from college and receiveing a bachelor’s degree in Biology, Kim decided that she wanted to take some time off and travel. Her love of knowledge, different cultures, and travel led her to spend the next few years living in and experiencing various countries around Europe.

In the summer of 2006, Kim had a friend who knew a photographer looking for girls to shoot. After doing two shoots, she began landing modeling jobs with very little effort. In the summer of 2007, Kim decided to turn what was once just a hobby and something to do in her spare time into a full-time serious career. Through her hard work and determination Kim has surprised many and especially herself. Within a short period of time, her many accomplishments make her one of the nation’s top fresh faces on the rise! The very first magazine that she appeared in was DUB magazine, a national publication distributed to millions. She received a seven page spread and graced the cover of Dropstars. Another one her notable achievements was receiving a lead role in a commericial for Ciroc Vodka’s national ad campaign which featured the infamous P Diddy. Recently Kim has decided to pursue acting. She loves the challenge of the craft. So far she has appeared in one independent film and most importantly she landed a lead role in the independent film “What Goes Around”. The film has already received a lot of buzz and attention on a national and even international level and is expected to be released in the summer of 2008.

Kim’s unique and diverse look has tremendous appeal across all markets and gives her the potential to become one of the nation’s top model’s and actress’. But it is her ability to complete a wide array of roles, her down to earth nature, and her hard work ethic that make her and her professionalism shine! Even though at the current moment Kim’s focus is to continue to build her career and become a successful model and actress, her passion and love for working with and helping children still remains on her mind. She has hopes that one day she will become successful enough to be able to give back to the community and fulfill her lifelong dream of helping underpriviledged and sick children.
