What inspired you to become a YOUNG STAR? As far as school…”If you’re not smart then you’re not going to get anywhere so why be dumb?!?” When it comes to football…”I just like the excitement of the game, being able to move by the tacklers and having that opportunity to tackle the ball carriers.” Basketball….. “I just love to do it because I can do it and I think I do it well. I feel that if you can do something well then why not do it…..that’s wasting a God given talent.” Now when it comes to Music …..Total different excitement comes to young Shane Jones’s face…..”Music is my passion and I do that non-stop. If I could do all styles of music I would. Man, the way you put music together and the words together is like doing poetry and it moves people and it moves me. “I do each verse like it’s my last”, “to the max I guess I can say” states the young Shane Jones. When it comes to Swagg ENT, inc.….. I asked him (manager Amber Nolen) “What is your vision for Swagg ENT, inc? “I see Swagg ENT accomplishing major goals in the Rap Game….as in pursuing young adults to stay out the streets. As I use Rap to keep me out the streets. I have always liked the old saying…”A mind is a terrible thing to waste”.

WHY DO YOU LIKE SCHOOL? “Because I have the chance to interact with Teens my age and me getting an education is the most important for my future.””

WHATS YOUR FAVORITE COLLEGE? “My Favorite College is Arkansas University in Fayetteville.

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU GROW UP? “I feel that a lot of teens say this but, I want to really make it in my music before I am 18. I know that rather I make it or not I am going to college. I want to defiantly work on my football career and I understand that things happen all the time so just to ensure that I will have a CAREER that I want to be in if those don’t work out then I want to open a community center for teens to stay out the streets. A center where they have help with school and give them the opportunity to do what they want to do in life.”

Who do you look up to? “In Music I look up to my Pops and Luda. I look up to my Pops because he teaches me everything he knows which has made me the rapper that I am today and that I will be in the future. I look up Luda because he doesn’t only make money rapping, he acts, he has his own restaurant in the ATL and he doesn’t just make music for blacks (African Americans), he makes music for the other races as well. And plus Luda places a big amount of his music around the females and that seems to be the big ticket way…they are the ones that are going to buy the music off the rack and not bootleg it….

What’s your favorite sports team? “Football: Philadelphia, Eagles. Basketball: Phoenix, Suns.

What is the last movie you saw, and what do you think of the movie? “The last movie I saw was “Medea Goes to Jail” and I thought it was Hilarious. As well it taught a lesson to people that believe that there life is over and that no matter what happens in life that you can do anything that you want. If you don’t do anything in your life then it’s your own fault because you were given the same opportunity as anyone else.

What are some of your favorite brands? “Cloths: shirts: just plain t-shirts no matter black, white, just plan ole t-shirts. When it comes to designer I would say Coogi, Ed Harden, and Polo. Pants: JEANS…Coogi, Red Monkey, LRG, Polo, Dickey’s, and Cargo…taking it old school!!! Shoes: Jordan’s, Air Force Ones, Air Maxx, Air Force Fusions, and Polo Boots. I like my fitted LR hat which reps Little Rock, and I love my Coogi hats….oh, my skully polo’s.

If YOUNGSTARZ.ORG gave you one million dollars right now, what would you do with it? “With a smile….”I would invest in myself, being guided by management. I would invest into Swagg ENT, inc. I would invest in my future as far as a college fund. I would use some to buy my mom a house so that she could enjoy the rest of her life in peace and not have to struggle. I have an idea for a clothing accessory which I don’t want to disclose publically at the moment…but I would love to be able to start that company up. I would also build myself a place that had a Studio for my recording as well as a Beat Making Studio because that is something else that I love to do as well. I would take the actual courses to learn how to run and work all equipment in my studio. Once I had done these I would bank the rest.

Who have you worked with and how have they affected your work? “As previously stated…My Pops the ways that he affected my work, I think it upgraded my work as far lyrics. I had the chance to perform with Lil Speedie at my “Swagg 16(copyrighted) birthday bash. I feel that it affected me in the aspect being able to co lab with someone on stage…never having practiced with this other artist It brought me to another level in my journey of growing into the ARTIST that I want to be.

What do you know about streetball? I’m from the jects so we don’t have anything to do but play ball…so I would say that I know a lot about streetball.

Favorite basketball team: Phoenix, Suns

Favorite basketball player: Labron James and Shawn Marion, and Carmelo Anthony ok ok ok last one….Nate Robinson…because he showed that little people can dunk.

Favorite entertainer: I would say that it would have Katt Williams and Richard Pryor.

Favorite movie: Don’t really have one but I would say “Hustle and Flow”

Favorite thing to do when you’re not working: “Writing freestyles, play football, and basketball and just laugh and have fun.
