How did you get started with your music?
UniqueJay: I’ve always been into music from playing guitar and piano growing up. Around 2006 I picked up rapping, producing, and making beats. My bruh Mushy Mo always like to freestyle and he was pretty good at it so me and him started up our group “Ski.Mask.Mob” in november, 2007. We Picked up Mushy Mo’s friend J-Mafia after we made acouple slaps together.
What are you currently working on?
UniqueJay: Right now we currently working on our first album soon to be release summer 2008.
What kind of music do you listen to and how does it influence your music?
UniqueJay: I listen to everythang but mostly I listen to Hyphy music..Basically if it slap I listen to it
What’s your opinion on mainstream music today? What do you like or not like?
UniqueJay: I think mainstream music is cool but I would like to see more variety of talent from the Bay going mainstream.
Who do you admire?
UniqueJay: I respect artist like Mac Dre, The Pack, Husalah&the mob figgaz, Team Knoc, Go Dav, Young Bari, The Grimyees, Bitch I Go(B.I.G), Mistah Fab, Too Short, J Stalin, Sleepy D, D-Lo, E-40, Truck Boiz.
