Welcome to the website of Menlo School, an independent, coeducational college preparatory day school for students in grades 6–12.Established in 1915, Menlo School offers a rigorous, engaging academic curriculum complemented by outstanding creative arts and athletics programs. We seek to attract and enroll motivated students who are secure in their academic skills and who will contribute to the rich fabric of our school community.

At the heart of the program is an extraordinarily talented and dedicated group of faculty, coaches and staff members who are both passionate about learning and deeply committed to the success of every child in the school.

Classes are small across grade levels, and students participate in hands-on, active learning. The Upper School enrolls 540 students in grades 9–12. There are 220 Middle School students in grades 6–8.

Menlo School values open communication with parents and strives to create an environment where both students and families feel connected to the school community.

Menlo School is accredited by the California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
